GOOSE - GOLDEN EGGS
Once upon a time, there was a poor man in a small village. He and
his wife had a goose. One day he prayed to god to help him become rich. Then god appeared to him and gave a boon that
the goose he had will lay a golden egg every day. Lucky though they were, they soon began to
think they were not getting rich fast enough. They imagined that if the goose
can able to lay golden eggs, its insides must be made of gold. Thinking this
they decided to get all that precious metal at once by killing goose. However,
upon cutting the goose, they were shocked to find that its inside were
like that of any other goose and there was no gold. So this teaches us to think before we act and also we should not be greedy.
