త్రి - మూర్తులు

త్రి మూర్తులు అనగా బ్రహ్మ, విష్ణువు మరియు శివుడు 
బ్రహ్మ సృష్టి కర్త. సరస్వతి దేవి బ్రహ్మ యొక్క భార్య. 
విష్ణువు స్థితి కర్త. లక్ష్మీ దేవి విష్ణువు యొక్క భార్య.
శివుడు లయకర్త. పార్వతి దేవి శివుడి యొక్క భర్య. 

TRIMOORTI

Brahma, Vishnu and Siva are called Trimoorti.
Brahma is the creator. Brahma's wife Saraswati.
Vishnu is the protector. Vishnu's wife Lakshmi.
Shiva is the destroyer or transformer. Shiva' wife Parvati.

Meaning: We worship the three eyed One (Lord Shiva) who is fragrant and who nourishes all beings; may He liberate me from death, for the sake of immortality, even as cucumber is severed from its bondage of the vine.
